Interpretation of Franco American presidential voting behavior in Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island previous to 1962. Takes into account wavering levels of ethnic solidarity, changes in economic class position, religious affiliation, and other historical contexts. Ultimately predicts the demise of "any such political phenomenon as the 'French vote.'"
